Meet Julie Chung
My name is Julie Chung.  I was born in Seoul,
South Korea and moved to the United States
when I was four years old. I was brought up in
Southern California. After I got married, I moved to
Maryland, Virginia, and Northern California. I
moved to North Carolina in 1999 and truly love
the life that my family and I created here.

My husband and I married in November of 1993.
He has been working for Cisco Systems for about
13+ years. We have 2 wonderful children, a son
who is a Sophomore at Panther Creek High School
and a daughter who is a 7th grader at
Mills Creek Middle School. They also attended Davis Drive Elementary School,
Highcroft Drive Elementary School, and Salem Middle School.

I have lived in Southern California, Silicon Valley Area in Northern California,
Maryland, and Virginia as well.  With each move, I met wonderful people and
experienced wonderful new adventures.  However, I also learned that finding
"home" was difficult and can rather be emotional.  With this in heart, I decided to
make a career move.  I decided to help people transition into the Raleigh-Cary
area - help them find "home" and/or sell their current homes so they can move on
to their next adventure in life, may it be relocating, buying a new home,
downsizing, building a new home, etc.

As a Korean American, I am bilingual in Korean and English.  My bilingual skills
allow me to help Koreans who need translation in their real estate transactions.  I
serve as a liaison for them.  

As an Asian American and with much experience of moving from different parts of
the world; country, I know the importance of assimilation and transition. Each
require effort and knowledge.  But with some friendly help, it does make life much
easier.  I want to be that for you.

I believe that with every experience in life, we are to learn from it, extract the
good, become a better person because of it and then make sure that we use it
to be a blessing to others.  

In addition to my personal life experience, my work experience has developed
through the years, so that I can service your real estate needs even better.

In college, I worked at various banks as a teller.  After I graduated from UC Santa
Barbara, I taught at San Gabriel Public School System.  Then in 1992, the
devastation of the LA Riot happened.  With my desire to help the community, I
accepted a job with the Los Angeles YMCA as a Program Director.  I worked
actively with Rebuild LA, community leaders, and various chapters of YMCA to
develop youth leadership conferences that focused on leadership and cultural
harmony.  I then moved to Maryland and worked as a Program Manager for the
National 4-H Council Center.  I managed the National 4-H Council Center
programs and developed leadership conferences for youth.  I then received a
new opportunity to be an International Monitor Awards Director for an association
for Television and Movies Post Production.  With this, I also opened a satellite office
in Southern California.  After finding out that I had a high risk pregnancy with my
daughter, I decided to be a stay home mom.  Personally, this was the most
challenging and awarding job I ever had.  However, my hunger to serve people
opened the doorway for me to start my business as a real estate broker.

My experiences in life and the skills that I have developed through the years, help
me to service your real estate needs more effectively.  My financial background,
mixed with leadership, teaching, program planning, program development, event
planning, event managing, production, marketing, and more helps me to be your
perfect liaison and professional advisor in your real estate transactions.

I value every precious moment of life. I know the joy of serving and the healing
power of laughter. I am grateful for my family and cherish my friends. It is an honor
for me to serve my God, family, friends and clients.
